A new rehabilitation centre for drug addicts among prison inmates will be opened tomorrow (23 June) in Paldena, Badulla. It will house around 500 prison inmates.

Another drug rehabilitation centre was opened last week in Pallekele with facilities for around 800 prison inmates.

The National Dangerous Drug Control Board is supporting the rehabilitation programmes in these centres.
