Sri Lanka Navy assisted in the repatriation of twenty three (23) Indian fishermen along with five fishing boats yesterday (30). They were handed over to the Indian officials on board Indian Coast Guard Ship C 146 in the seas off Talaimannar.

Sri Lankan Naval vessels SLNS Ranarisi, P 216 and Coastal Patrol Craft 019 attached to the Northern Naval Command facilitated the repatriation.
