Hospital equipment for Armed Forces

 

The Association of Sri Lankaise En France, an organization of Sri Lankans living in France will donate hospital equipment worth over 100, 000 Euros to the Sri Lanka armed forces in order to improve the health facilities available to soldiers.

Accordingly, 80 remote-controlled steel beds, 80 bedside cupboards, and surgical equipment will be donated, in response to a request made the Sri Lanka Navy. The head office of the Association of Sri Lankaise En France will oversee the project.

The Association welcomes donations from any interested party to facilitate current need for mattresses, says the President of the Association. The completion of the project which includes transportation of the equipment from France to Sri Lanka requires a sum of around 8000 Euros, he further said.
