To prosecute a Govt. doing its best for healing and reconciliation is vicious - Prof. Wijesinha

 

In dealing with the impact on reconciliation efforts of unbridled attacks on the Sri Lankan government, Adviser on Reconciliation to the President, Prof Rajiva Wijesinha, MP said to prosecute a government doing its best for healing and reconciliation seems to be vicious.

He stressed that recrimination and retribution to satisfy western voters ignores interests of Tamils in Sri Lanka.

He was interviewed on the BBC Radio 4 early morning today (5) programme.

The role of the shady South African Chris du Toit, who had advised the terrorist Jonas Savimbi in Angola on behalf of the Apartheid government in Pretoria was also highlighted.
