A group of rehabilitated ex LTTE cadres who were reintegrated to the society recently have formed a musical group called ‘Samaye Mithuro’ (Friends of Peace).

This musical group has staged a show and exhibited its talents on 12th of August at the Vavuniya Cultural Hall after their rehabilitation.

They made the audience happy and enjoyable singing the Sinhala song ‘Api Okkoma Rajawaru, Okkoma Wesiyo’ and later sang some Tamil and Sinhala songs.

The security forces in-charge-of rehabilitating these members said that they would make arrangements to have this group as a professional musical group in the future, and it would bring them an income too.
