Accordingly, Each Divisional Secretariat in Colombo District will be provided with funds to be utilized for the development of the District, Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa said.

The Economic Development Ministry has provided more than Rs.4620 million this year for immediate development activities in the Colombo District. The funds have been allocated for Provincial road develop project, Divi Neguma project, Samurdhi programme and Gama Neguma project in the District.
