During the visit, Northern Naval Area Commander Rear Admiral R.C. Wijegunaratne briefed the Defence Secretary on the Kankesanthurai harbour shipwreck removing activities and its progress. Project manager of the contractor M/s Resolve Marine (USA) Anuj Sahai explained the work scope and the latest diving and underwater cutting devices used for the project.
