The special committee appointed by Water supply and Drainage Board to certify the quality and standard of the companies that are engaged in bottling potable water is to submit its recommendation very soon.

A dead line will be given to the water bottle companies to obtain the new license after the Gazette notification regarding the details of the new license.

According to the Chairman of the Board Karunasena Hettiarachchi no sales could be done by any water bottling company without this license.

All the sources to obtain water by these companies will be examined, the Chairman said.
