This year marks the 21st anniversary of the exhibition which was held annually since 1991.

The organizer of the show, Sri Lanka Gem & Jewellery Association (SLGJA) promises the FACETS 2011 to be 'Bigger and Better' than ever before with hundreds of local and foreign exhibitors showcasing their gem and jewellery products.

A large number of influential trade visitors from around the world are expected to visit the exhibition.

FACETS 2011 promises better overseas participation and wider cosmopolitan exposure, to both product and company.

On display will be Sri Lanka's finest gems and Jewellery. The fair is to showcase a wide variety of sapphires and gemstones from producers and wholesalers from all the main producing areas of Sri Lanka.

A series of jewellery fashion shows, pairing fashion with fine jewellery, will be held daily during the entire duration of the Fair, adding glamour and excitement, the organizers said.
