RDB opens 11 branches in N& E

 
Eleven branches of Regional Development Bank were opened in the Northern and Eastern provinces recently.

Plans are underway to open ten more branches in the Northern and Eastern provinces within next year.

The Regional Development Bank (RDB) was formed last year by amalgamating six Regional Banks - Rajarata, Ruhuna, Wayamba, Uva, Kadurata and Sabaragamuwa Development Bank too to encourage and help in banking activities by the rural farmers and industrialists.
