Ukrainian carrier to start flights to Sri Lanka

 

One of Ukraine's largest air carriers, AeroSvit will start services to Sri Lanka next month.

The airline will start non-stop flights between Kyiv and Colombo on October 22, the airline has said in a statement.

The carrier will operate three flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays to Colombo and Colombo to Kyiv flights will leave on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

According to the airline the flight between Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo and Boryspil Airport in Kyiv will operate on a wide-body Boeing 767and the trip will take approximately 9 hours.
