Construction of another Jana Sevana village commences

 
Construction of houses for another village under the ‘Jana Sevana’ programme commenced yesterday (Sep 13) in Bastiyawatta in Hanguranketha District.

The village named ‘Vimalpura’ is built to benefit low income and homeless families, in the memory of war heroes.

Under this project, 100 houses will be constructed at a cost of Rs.20 million. Infrastructure facilities will also be constructed in line with the building of the village.

This project, carried out by the Ministry of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities is expected to be completed by December this year.
