The project is to start with the ticketing for Yala National Wildlife Park in Southern Province.

Visitors will also be enabled to make reservations online for accommodation in the bungalows inside the parks in advance, the Department announced.

Sri Lanka's national wildlife parks are becoming tourist hotspots following the end of the conflict. Several more entrances to the Yala and Wilpattu national parks are being gradually opened by authorities. Those park entrances remained closed for many decades due to terrorist activities.
