Sri Lanka Telecom launches the first phase of ‘i-Sri Lanka’ project in Jaffna.

One of the biggest projects ever to be undertaken in Jaffna, the first stage will embark on regional service modernization to ensure better internet facilities. This is an initiative that will deliver to customers throughout the country constant and uninterrupted high speed internet services, SLT Chairman Nimal Welgama said.

Implemented under the theme ‘One Country One Voice’, this project will ensure that Sri Lankans have access to the best network facilities available on par with global standards. This will also form stronger communication links between the North and the South.
