UN General Assembly

President arrives in New York

 
President Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived in New York yesterday (19) to attend the 66th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The President and the Sri Lankan delegation were received by Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations Dr. Palitha Kohona and Deputy Permanent Representative Major General Shavendra Silva.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to attend the opening plenary session of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) annual meeting in New York today (20).
