UK has broad ties with SL- British DHC

“Britain has broad ties with Sri Lanka, so for me it is important to visit as much of the country as possible,” the British Deputy High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Robbie Bulloch said, adding that this means talking to people in different regions, seeing how they live their lives and visiting sites of cultural and spiritual significance to Sri Lankans.

The British Deputy High Commissioner visited Puttalam yesterday (20) starting his three day visit to Puttalam and Mannar. He also met with internally displaced Muslim families, and a fisher community in Kalpitya.

The Deputy High Commissioner also had official meetings with government officials and the police department. He will continue his visit today (21), starting at Doric and Arripu Fort.
