Seed producing farm to Paranthan

 
A modern seed producing farm of the Government Agriculture Department was declared opened yesterday (Oct. 5) in Paranthan, Kilinochchi under the Vadakkin Vasantham Program.

Japanese Government assisted this project to flourish the field of agriculture when the resettlement commenced in Kilinochchi.

Under this, farmers will produce more cereals like green gram, Kurakkan and cow bean in order to cease import of these cereals.
