President Mahinda Rajapaksa expressed his condolence over the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

Jobs' contribution is greatly appreciated by all, the Director General President’s Media said quoting the President.

Steven P. Jobs, the Apple Inc. chairman and co-founder who pioneered the personal-computer industry and changed the way people think about technology, died Wednesday at the age of 56.
