A United States delegation including 3 Congressmen accompanied by Sri Lankan Ambassador to US and Mexico Jaliya Wickramasuriya met with Secretary Defence Gotabaya Rajapksa yesterday (Oct 18).

The delegation led by Congressman Albert Benjamin Chandler, III, is currently on a three-day visit in Sri Lanka under the Sri Lanka-US Parliamentary Exchange Programme.

The delegates saw the 'Lies Agreed Upon' documentary that exposes the malicious attempts by Channel 4 to tarnish the image of the Sri Lankan security forces. Later, a discussion was held between the delegates and Secretary Defence.
