Construction of more houses under the ‘Jana Sevana’ programme will be declared open by Minister of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Wimal Weerawansa tomorrow (Nov 1) in Padaviya, Uruva, Omarkada in the Anuradhapura District.

These houses will be constructed in the two villages: Omarkada and Koonveva. 50 houses will be built at a cost of Rs. 7.5m in each village.

The ‘Jana Sevana’ programme, carried out by the Ministry of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities aims to construct one million houses within six years.
