Sri Lanka has been shortlisted for the Best Offshoring Destination of the Year Award at the 2011 National Outsourcing Association (NOA) Awards, to be held on 9 & 10 November in London, UK.

Sri Lanka has been nominated for this award along with Egypt and Poland.

For the first time ever the NOA will be bringing together its annual Sourcing Summit & Awards.

Now in its eighth year, the annual National Outsourcing Association Awards (NOAA’s) is firmly established as the highlight in the outsourcing industry calendar. This combined with the 9th NOA Sourcing Summit will create a must-attend event for professionals involved in sourcing across all business sectors.

The NOA Summit & Awards is the ultimate knowledge sharing and networking event for outsourcers involved in all sectors of IT and BPO.

It recognizes countries, companies and individuals who excel in outsourcing while building networks and sharing good practice within the outsourcing sector.

The two-day event will attract over 500 corporate and decision makers around the world. It feature conference sessions, roundtable discussions, and exhibitions, and conclude with the annual awards ceremony in London on November 10, 2011.

This year’s summit will address the current topics such as Multisourcing, Public Sector Outsourcing, Global Sourcing, Relationship Management, Innovation, Benchmarking, Managing Risk and Cloud Computing and SaaS (Software as a service).
