Mihin Lanka launches new route to Middle East

 

Mihin Lanka budget airline launching a new route has expanded its service to the Middle East.

The low-cost airline launched two weekly flights on October 31 from the Colombo international airport (CMB) to Sharjah (SHJ) in the United Arab Emirates.

The airline is in competition with the Air Arabia which operates nine flights a week on Colombo - Sharjah route.

This is Mihin Lanka's second route to the UAE, now serving the country daily. It operates five flights a week to Dubai in UAE.

The airline was formed to cater for low cost air transportation to the public traveling mainly to Middle East. It commenced operation on 24th April 2007 flying to Dubai.
