Good work environment imperative for
efficiency- President |

Any professional can deliver the optimum of his service depending on the environment he works in. In order to receive the maximum out of their services, they need to be provided with best facilities, said President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
There is a close relationship between the Tangalle Police Station and the public, President said in his address on the occasion of declaring open the newly constructed Tangalle Police Headquarters on November 06, 2011. "When people expect a good service from the police, it is our responsibility to create a good environment for the Police to work with a good mentality, he further said. “If the environment is not conducive to their work, the Police are under much stress... I understand this as a politician who has had contact with the Police for a long time", he added.
The President stressed the need for good cooperation between the Police and the public. The Police are provided with the necessary facilities and due recognition. Conversely, the Police need to fulfill their duties and responsibilities to people, he said.
