Another Jana Sevana village in Kurunegala

 
Construction of houses for another village under the ‘Jana Sevana’ programme commenced today (Nov. 24) in Velangollawatta in Kurunegala.

Under this, 23 houses will be constructed in an area in town which has a commercial value. These houses will benefit higher middle class families in the area.

Cost for the construction of houses and relevant infrastructure facilities will be Rs.190million. The constructions will be completed by next year.

The Government aims to construct one million houses within six years under the ‘Jana Sevana’ programme which is carried out by the Ministry of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities.
