As a first phase, 30 percent of the people would be provided with Samurdhi assistance on a priority basis.

The Samurdhi Banks would be temporarily functioning in Pachilapalli, Pooneryn, Kandavalai and Karaichchi area, located within the Assistant Government Agent Divisions.
