Sanga in MCC World Cricket Committee

 
Sri Lankan cricket team Kumar Sangakkara was awarded membership at the MCC World Cricket Committee in its annual meeting held in Cape Town, South Africa.

This is only the second time a Sri Lankan player has been awarded membership of the MCC Cricket Committee while Michael Tissera was the first to be awarded the membership.
