The Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani will arrive in Sri Lanka on January 15th for a two-day official visit on the invitation by President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The Emir will lead a delegation consisting of high ranking officials of the Qatari government and several leading businessmen of Qatar.

Several agreements covering improvement of bilateral relations between the two countries in the fields of economic, trade, investment, cultural and industrial sectors are scheduled to be signed during the visit of the Emir of Qatar.
