Sri Lanka showcased at U.S. Army War College |

Sri Lanka’s culture, food, products and tourist attractions were brilliantly showcased at the U.S. Army War College International Fellows around the World 2012 held at the Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania on January 21.
The event was organized by the “International Fellows”- the body of overseas students currently following academic programs at the college.
The event was participated by 67 countries with an array of innovative stalls to represent them. The guest enjoyed the widest variety of food and beverages they could imagine available for them free of charge, while educating themselves about the participant countries. Over 1500 invitees attended the event.
Sri Lanka Embassy Washington DC, under the guidance of Sri Lankan Ambassador in US Jaliya Wickramasuriya provided human and material support for the organizers to arrange the Sri Lanka’s stall at the event.
U.S. Army War College Carlisle, Pennsylvania is the highest military educational institution in United States.
