More electricity projects at Kalutara

 
The Ministry of Power and energy will initiate another four electricity projects in the Kalutara District.

These projects include Rs. 15.13 mn Ihala Hewessa Fruit Farm electricity project, for the benefit of 53 families, Rs. 12.28 mn Gulanawatte electricity project, for the benefit of 52 families, Rs. 12.45 mn Ihala Hewessa Mananhena electricity project, for the benefit of 92 families.

The total cost of the four projects exceeds Rs. 40 mn and over 200 families will benefit from them.

These projects are being implemented under the programme of providing electricity to all in the country by the end of 2012.
