President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday opened the sixth Deyata Kirula national exhibition at Oyamaduwa in Anuradhapura. It will be open to the public till February 10.
The exhibition consists of over 1,000 stalls run by government ministries, private sector agencies and the Security Forces.
Admission to the Deyata Kirula is free for schoolchildren in uniform and teachers. Others should buy a Rs 20 Development Lottery ticket.
Each visitor to the exhibition is insured for one million rupees. The exhibition hours are 8 am. to 12 midnight daily.
Development projects worth over Rs. 25,000 million have also been launched to mark the Deyata Kirula 2012 program.
Police set up several stalls at the Deyata Kirula exhibition premises for the benefit of the public.
