President Mahinda Rajapaksa will undertake a state visit to Singapore from 15 - 17 February, 2012, at the invitation of President of Singapore Dr. Tony Tan Keng Yam.

During his visit to Singapore, President Rajapaksa will hold talks with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

A memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation between the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka and the Singapore Business Federation will be signed during President's visit, Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The President is to visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens, where an orchid will be named in his honor.

The President will also meet with Sri Lankan professionals in Singapore.
