Singapore President appreciates ongoing reconciliation process

 
His Excellency the President, Mahinda Rajapaksa who is on a two day official visit to Singapore met the President of Singapore, Tony Tan Keng Yam today(15) and engaged in a cordial discussion.

Sri Lankan delegation led by the President and the First Lady were received cordially at Istana Palace, the official residence of Singapore President. A guard of Honour was accorded to the President by the Singapore army.

President of Singapore, Tony Tan Keny Yam who appreciated the on going reconciliation Programme stated that it is important for Sri Lanka to work towards building a new country setting aside the past.

President Rajapaksa invited Singapore investors to make use of vast investment opportunities available in Sri Lanka.
