A special train service from Colombo Fort to Hatton has commenced. This service will be operated on weekends and on Public Holidays for the convenience of Sri Pada Pilgrims.

The special train will leave Colombo Fort at 9.10 am to reach Hatton at 2.00 pm, and the return train will leave Hatton at 10 pm to reach Colombo Fort at 3.00 am the following day.

The fare is Rs. 140 per person one-way and the service will be operated till the 6th of May.
