Another phase of housing project for war heroes which is carried out under "Api Wenuwen Api" fund has been completed.

Accordingly, thirty more houses will be handed over to war heroes on Saturday (March 17) in a ceremony held at the Meeduma Sri Sumangala College Grounds. The houses will be handed over to thirty war heroes and their close relatives from Kegalle District by President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

So far 7 phases of "Api Wenuwen Api" project has been completed in 11 Districts and the constructed houses were handed over to war heroes.

The "Api Wenuwen Api" housing project is a concept of HE the President Mahinda Rajapaksa and operates under the guidance and of Secretary to the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
