SEC lifts 10% price band

 

The Securities and Exchange Commission has directed the Colombo Stock Exchange to lift the 10% price band imposed on all listed securities with immediate effect.

The SEC will evaluate the behavior of the market and the price band will be re-imposed in future if the situation so warrants, the SEC further stated.
