President Mahinda Rajapaksa will pay an official visit to Cuba today and tomorrow, states the Ministry of External Affairs.

A MoU will be signed between Sri Lanka and Cuba during the President’s visit. It will be signed between the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute for International Relations and Strategic Studies of Sri Lanka and Raul Roa Garcia Institute of International Relations of Cuba.

The MoU’s objective is to develop academic cooperation through joint research and exchange of information between the two institutions.

President Rajapaksa is scheduled to meet several heads of governments during his stay in Cuba.
