The Paris Institute of Higher Studies in Arts (IESA Group) has accomplished a real synthesis and should be recognized for its fusion between intellectual and professional curriculum, said Ambassador Dayan Jayatilleka participating as a special guest at the award ceremony and sponsorship evening of the IESA Group on June 25.
The event included a tea tasting service where different varieties of Sri Lankan tea were presented to the public present on the occasion, states the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Paris.
Since 1985, the Group IESA has become the Grande Ecole for careers in the field of culture, arts and the digital. The Château de Chantilly where the gala took place is a historic castle located in the town of Chantilly, France. Owned by the Institut de France, the château houses the Condé Museum , one of the finest art galleries in France after the Louvre Museum and book illuminations dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries. Also present on the occasion were Mrs. Françoise Schmitt (co-founder of IESA) and Mr. Jean-Louis Boursin, Rector of the Sorbonne University, the Embassy further stated.
