The Maldivian President accompanied by Madam Waheed, and a delegation of senior Ministers and officials are arriving for a three-day state visit at the invitation of the President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

During this visit, the two Presidents will conduct bilateral consultations to review the relations between the two countries.

The visiting dignitary is also expected to meet the Sri Lanka – Maldives business communities and will also pay tribute to the War Heroes Monument in Sri Jayawardenapura, Kotte.
