Chinese Defence Minister to arrive today

 
A high level Chinese delegation led by Defence Minister Liang Guanglie will arrive in Sri Lanka today (29) for a fiveday official visit. Liang’s visit follows the visit of Army Commander Lt. Gen Jagath Jayasuriya to Beijing in June.

The visiting Defence Minister will be accorded a Guard of Honour on his arrival at the Defence Ministry today.

The Minister is to deliver a special lecture at the Defence Services Command and Staff College at Batalanda. He is also expected to visit Security Forces Headquarters (South) at Panagoda and Defence Services College at Malay Street.
