NAM would achieve goals through Iran's presidency – President

 
President Mahinda Rajapaksa expressed hope the Non- Aligned Movement (NAM) would achieve its objectives during Iran's presidency over the organization for the next three years.

Speaking to reporters in Tehran, President Rajapaksa urged the NAM member states to materialize their agreements.

President is in Tehran to attend the two-day 16th NAM Summit commenced this morning.
