The Board of investment of Sri Lanka signed an agreement with Imperial Builders (Pvt) Limited of Pakistan to develop a land in Slave Island, Colombo. “The great leadership and vision of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Defence Secretary, Gotabaya Rajapaksa, has inspired him to initiate a Mega Development in this region”, said Naveed Hussain Lakhani, Chairman, Imperial Builders (Pvt) Ltd.
The project at Slave Island at a cost of US$ 60 will maximize the economic worth of the land and the surrounding area in the near future.
Lakhani further said that they always wanted to make sure that society gets the maximum benefits of this development and as such they worked out a strategy where the dwellers will remain located at their original places until their relocation towers are progressed in 9-10 months. This will make a re-development one of its kind to win the hearts of hundreds of families living there currently.
Furthermore the phase of private development will be launched at cash purchased UDA land facing Akbar Road and will cover a land extent of 107P where a mixed retail and residential towers will be launched very soon thereby contributing for a change in the lives of the masses.
Chairman of the Imperial Builders (Pvt) Ltd. Pointed out that this is just the beginning and the group hopes to further invest in Sri Lankan projects.
