Parliament passes Second Reading of 2013 budget

 
The Second Reading of the Appropriation Bill (2013) was passed in Parliament yesterday (17) by a majority of 103 votes. While 156 voted in favour and 53 voted against.

The Committee Stage debate will begin on November 19 and continue until December 8 on 16 allotted days including Saturdays. The final vote on the Budget (Third Reading) will take place on December 8.
