President leaves for Kazakhstan

 

President Mahinda Rajapaksa left for Kazakhstan this morning for a three-day state visit.

During his stay, President will hold bilateral talks with the President and the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

He is also schedule to address Nazarbayev University in Astana.

Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan in May this year signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand the bilateral relations between the two countries and hold regular consultations between the Ministries of External Affairs of Sri Lanka and Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
