Uva Province counselling teachers` training programme’ held

 
The National Child Protection Authority was conducted a programme for counselling Teachers in Uva Province under the “Surekum Pawwa” School Child Protection Committee (SCPC) programme.

The objective of this training programme was to educate and train teachers on how to establish a SCPC in schools and how to function the committee aimed at preventing child abuse.

A programme was held at Badulla Haliela resource center on 20th of November and another programme was held at auditorium of District Secretariat of Monaragala on the same day.
