The construction of the terminal of Kottawa end of Colombo-Galle Southern Expressway will be commenced in December. The Kottawa terminal will comprise five entries and eight exits. The terminal also connects the Southern Expressway to the Colombo Outer Circle Expressway which is being built now. The Southern Expressway will be connected to other expressways such as Colombo-Kandy Expressway and Colombo-Katunayake Airport Expressway via the Colombo Outer Circle Expressway.
