Levy on internet broadband connections reduced

 
The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) has reduced the telecommunication levy on internet broadband connections from next year.

The telecommunication levy on internet and broadband services will be reduced by 50 percent from January 2013, TRCSL Director General Anusha Pelpita said.

Accordingly the telecommunication levy will be reduced from 20 to 10 percent.
