The fishermen told that they were unknowingly drifted in to Sri Lankan waters by the wind.

Trincomalee Magistrate released all the fishermen who were in remand without bail and ordered the police to take steps to move the fishermen's boats and equipment out of Sri Lanka's maritime borders.
