Diplomats briefed

 
The government yesterday briefed the Colombo based diplomatic community on a wide range of issues including the current political situation in the country.

In a statement the ministry said, “Minister of External Affairs Prof. G.L.Peiris yesterday briefed the Colombo based diplomatic community on a wide range of issues connected with matters related to current initiatives in both the political and economic spheres.”

Deputy Minister of External Affairs Neomal Perera and Secretary to the Ministry Karunathilleke Amunugma were also present.
