The cabinet approved a proposal brought by the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways to set up the three Maga Neguma companies under the Road Development Authority (RDA).

Maga Neguma Construction Equipment Company (Pvt) Limited will provide construction equipment and machinery to those engaged in the Road Sector Development for a fee. The company will also undertake and complete road construction works under Rs.l00 million awarded by the RDA.

The Maga Neguma Emulsion Production Company (Pvt) Limited will manufacture emulsion, and pre-mix etc. and supply those for road sector development works.

The third, Maga Neguma Consultancy and Management Company (Pvt) will provide consultancy services for the preparation of Bills of Quantities, project proposals etc.
