Sri Lanka yesterday expressed concern over Tuesday's nuclear test announced by North Korea and urged the concerned parties to ensure peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula.
In a statement External Affairs Ministry reiterated its concern about the nuclear test conducted by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on 12th February 2013.
"Through this act the DPRK has once again violated the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1874 (2009)," the statement said.
